FPIES (Food Protein-induced Enterocolitis Syndrome) is a rare but severe type of food allergy affecting the gastrointestinal tract. It is often under recognized and poorly understood.

The organization’s founders identified a dire need for tangible support resources for both the affected families and the medical community. The FPIES Foundation is committed to providing a credible and interactive support resource for this rare, oftentimes isolating diagnosis. We strive to make the everyday lives of children with FPIES and their families easier

At The FPIES Foundation, we believe that forming strong bonds with our local and global communities means greater strength for supporting our children and families. We hope to partner with you, our global community, in order to advance education, advocacy and medical research regarding FPIES.

We need your help in creating programs to promote doctor and family education about FPIES, in supporting struggling families in their time of emotional and financial need, and in advocating for FPIES research and new, improved treatment options. Your support and contributions can better the lives of the smallest of patients.

Imagine parents holding their sick child in the dark night, scared and alone, not knowing where to turn for help. Envision the light that knowledge and the insight of an informed doctor can bring to these dark nights, to these children and their families. Strive with us to explore treatment options customized to enable growth and healing for today’s children as well as those of the future.  By supporting The FPIES Foundation today, you can help us to create this light and to realize this hope for a better tomorrow. Strong bonds with you, our community, will keep our cause alive. The support received from these strong bonds will give our children greater hope for brighter days.  Read our stories, support our cause, and reach out your hands.
